SEMCY (Sports Education and Mentoring for Children & Youth).
Our organization is non-profit and started in the year of 2012 , we offer sports and educational programs to children and youth, Additionally courses, seminars, counseling and other support services for disadvantaged children are provided free of charge. As an organization we aim to support minority groups such as newcomers/refugees, LGTBQ+, girls, and persons with disability. Some examples of programs we provide are counselling for youth managed by social workers, soccer programs, free after school tutoring, social groups etc. Our soccer teams not only compete within the GTA but even compete internationally! Over the past decade , as an organization we have made many achievements recognized by the local community, municipal/provincial government, and various non-profit organizations in the region.
