SEMCY (Sports Education and Mentoring for Children and Youth) delivers community based, soccer programs designed to support the physical, social, and emotional development of children and youth. Programs provide structured training, leagues, tournaments, and community events for boys and girls, with a strong emphasis on skill development, mentorship, teamwork, and positive youth development.
SEMCY operates on a low cost model to remove financial barriers for low-income and equity-deserving families. Programming is delivered seasonally from April to November across accessible outdoor fields, parks, and stadiums in Toronto, with a transition to indoor community facilities when required due to weather or school schedules.
All programs are led by qualified coaches and delivered in alignment with recognized sport standards to ensure safe, inclusive, and high-quality sport experiences.
